Development Outcomes
The project was developed in collaboration with Awesome Women in Construction (AWIC). The game highlights a variety of construction roles for young women and showcases the different pathways the characters took to reach their current careers.
The project was an overall success, with our work being well received by the client. Our team’s project was also selected as one of the few from our cohort to be featured on the QUT Games Showcase page: https://www.qut.edu.au/study/undergraduate/information-technology-and-games/student-games-showcase
Personally, it was my first attempt at programming a dynamic UI using an event- and callback-driven programming pattern, and the experience gave me a new appreciation for the utilization of C# delegates.
